Survive the Experience
In which a knight, a fairy and a chicken obsessed toddler help their parents homestead and are unschooled.

Striving for self-sufficiency in a modern world, we\'re a family of 3 with space for gardening (veg, fruit and flowers), a few chickens, sheep and guardian llama along with cats, dog, fish, and ants -- an ant farm, that is. Spare time usually finds me in the middle of some type of fiber-related effort, DH gardening (currently building cold frames all \'round) and DS creating all types of Lego-built worlds. We\'re shaping our version of the good life in the Shenandoah Valley.

Blog detailing my adventures in living a more sustainable life - milking, gardening, raising animals, and other fun stuff. As an unschooler, my children are often along for the ride.
