Athena Creates I'm a sewing mama to 5 kids on earth plus 1 in heaven. I taught myself to sew on my aunt's treadle sewing machine when I was 11. Over the years, I have dabbled in other crafty endeavors but sewing is truly my passion. I wanted a project that I could take with me so I started knitting last year and I'll fallen pretty hard...especially when it comes to finer fibers. I can't stand cheap acrylic. My darling hubby bought me a spinning wheel for Mother's Day. I'm enjoying it but find it hard to pull it out when there's cooking/cleaning/laundry to be done.
Just. Keep. Sewing. And collecting fabric ;)
